The journey of this daily photoblog started when both of us got into photography some 20 years ago. We would go out on photo walks with our old analog cameras (a Canon AT-1 for Jens and a Pentax Program A for Erik), amassing shoe boxes full of paper prints. One day in late 2005 we found ourselves wondering if there could be something fun to do with all our photos. Maybe a website where we could post one of them each day... 

On January 1, 2006, we launched JENRIKS – our daily photoblog where we are dedicated to alternating one photo per day between the two of us.

Fast forward almost two decades, and we're as passionate about photography as ever. We treat photography as autobiographic expression, always with an eye for unexpected beauty.

2024 is our 19th year of non-stop daily posts, and we're as passionate about photography as on day one.
